At the ceedd, we are interested in developing cooperative and collaborative relationships with those world-class biotech companies that share our passion for creating new and differentiated medicines for patients.

We are open to alliances starting at any point in the development path – from target to clinical proof of concept (PoC) – and indeed, unlike a typical licensing department, we will often engage a biotech at an earlier stage than is common practice. We specifically seek out biotechs that share the same goals, and are on the look out for companies whose platforms and science offers broad applications. We are looking for:

• A novel drug discovery platform that has the potential to produce clinically differentiated products ideally across multiple therapeutic areas
• The capability or aspiration to develop these products to clinical proof of concept
• A world-leading position in an innovative technology, biology or therapeutic field based on first-class science
• A strong management team and a top-tier investor base

Our development focus is on drug discovery and truly differentiated medicines. We do not seek diagnostics or drug delivery technologies, nor do we form alliances with service organizations or companies with single assets.
