Concert uses deuterium-based chemistry to create and develop highly differentiated new medicines, leveraging existing drugs to reduce risk, time and expense associated with research and development. The ceedd recognized the value of this approach along with Concert's extensive pharmaceutical experience to create novel drug candidates. After completing formal business and scientific discussions and due diligence, Concert and GSK entered into a strategic alliance in just under four months.
