Mustafa Noor, M.D., M.Sc.

Vice President, Head of Clinical Development

Mustafa Noor joined the U.S. ceedd in May 2009 from the GSK Cardiovascular Metabolic Medicines Development Centre where he oversaw the development of early clinical pipeline. In his role, Dr. Noor is responsible for investigational medicine and clinical drug discovery aspects of current alliances and potential collaborations. Prior to GSK, Dr. Noor was at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company where he contributed to late-stage clinical development of metabolic and HIV antiviral programs. Dr. Noor completed his clinical fellowship and post-doctoral research at the University of California San Francisco. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals in the area of metabolic complications of HIV therapeutics. He is certified in internal medicine and in the subspecialty of endocrinology and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds an M.D. from the University of Chicago and a Master's in Clinical Investigation from Vanderbilt University.
